1 Pack of ramen noodles
3 drops sesame oil 1 teaspoon soy sauce 1 egg a bit of sesame seeds. Boil ramen like normal. When ramen noodles are cooked, turn off the heat and immediately (without waiting for it to cool) crack the egg into the noodles and stir it in (a fork works best because you want to break up the egg before it cooks). Put in normal ramen noodle seasoning (assuming you used chicken, beef, or pork and not something wierd). Add the sesame oil, soy sauce, and sesame seeds then stir. Its important not to use too much sesame oil because it can be overpowering in even small quantities. It also helps to have just barely enough water to boil the noodles in because it leaves you with a thicker, eggier broth. Your cooking skill has improved one point. EDIT: You may also try putting in some chopped up green onions. Not a whole lot of flavor, but it makes it more visually appealing. EDIT AGAIN: Seriously I live on this stuff. You can make it for like 5 people for like... a dollar. Post your tasties. Last edited by Pip Boy; 10-04-2010 at 12:49 PM. |
