I just realized that 'your mom' jokes dying shall be two-fold.
Firstly, as the jokes get older, they fall more and more out of style. And secondly, as I grow older, it becomes more likely that the person I am talking to (assuming I converse mainly with people fairly close to my age) has a dead mother and that the joke just becomes uncomfortable for everyone.* This saddens me. *These people are such goddamn whiners. WAAAAAH my mom is dead and it clearly wasn't recently and you had absolutely no way of knowing that YOU'RE SUCH A JERK FOR MAKING THE ASSUMPTION THAT I, LIKE THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE OF MY AGE GROUP, HAVE A LIVING MOTHER |
