A good way to keep track of crap?

So, I've been doing some fun/amusing (to me) stuff, and throwing it up onto a site now, for a few days. I threw together a barebones site in a few minutes, completely ignoring all things php, since I didn't want to have to deal with the hassle of getting the php crap onto the laptop I'm using, or uploading everything online whenever I wanted to test it.

Now, I am no longer ignoring all things php, since it will make my life easier, and all the relevant stuff is on the server now. Anyone know any good archiving/picture gallery-ing stuff?

Yeah, I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking for either. Just some way of making things easy to keep track of, really.

Probably a bit limited but it's a start.

Just as a note, but you'll save yourself a lot of heartache if you get XAMPP. It's a self-contained Apache server program specifically built for testing purposes, but robust enough it's even sometimes used for live hosting. Just start up Apache and MySQL if you need it (NOT as services, since that gets complicated), put your pages all in the XAMPP\htdocs folder, and go to your browser of choice, using http://localhost/ as your root folder.

Yeah, I know I ought to. It was mainly a problem of, "Well, I have nothing on my new computer, and I really don't feel like going through a lot of trouble for what shouldn't really be that big of a thing."

Okay, so, I'm getting a wordpress thing set up, I guess. My main concerns/questions: How easy is it to customize, with decent knowledge of CSS and PhP?

Even after I learned, grew up, and came to be on the right side of a lot of important issues, I was still angry, abrasive, and generally increased the amount of hate in the world, in pretty unacceptable ways.
