Ideas for vacation

So, for the first time ever in life, 28 years old me is ready to make his first international trip.

I finally have a nice little pool of money that i can spent without feeling guilty or ripping my savings in half for it, and i want to make the best of it. Finally got my passport, and my plan is to take a vacation from work in March 2014. I was thinking of purchasing a Travel package now and start paying it nice and easy until then so i can travel with some money in the pocket instead of blowing a hole through my account.

The idea is exciting, but since this is something new for me... i want to make the most of it.

So, you fellas are a bunch of international people from all the corners of the globe... what say you?

As a suggestion, a friend told me the obvious classic... go to Disney for a week. Well... sure, but i'm not sure just how much entertaining can Disney be for a person by itself... always felt more like a group thing.

So, take this thread to talk about Travel and Vacation destinies you people enjoy and have experimented before. I'll be sure to be taking notes.

Depends what you're looking for out of a trip. Are you wanting to just go and sit on a nice beach somewhere and laze about, or do you want to sightsee and explore whichever country you're in?
