I wasn't sure if I needed to shout out the name of my spell, but, since Mobaba's never said anything when she used her's, I assumed the silent treatment worked.

Though, I'm forced to wonder if this attack will get Soleena and Karen off to a bad start, she is killing perfectly ~~corrupted~~ innocent plants in an obviously selfish attempt to ignore John. She doesn't like being ignored, it's a matter of pride as an artist/sorceress/bard/songwriter/busybody. Her response, ignore the problem and hope Karma works.

Also Mage fights are fun.

Well it isn't like john is trying to insult Karen. He was simply stating an opinion for the first illusion, that he thought was Rekkin's. The second illusion he thought was Brownie's. He won't even get to see the fireball.

The tragedy is that he just doesn't know she exists.

Yeah, grappling is troublesome since most of the time it requires a slight understanding of that style of fighting and the trouble of having to continually check where the character is, and what position it is in while grappling.

I also had to keep myself from unconsciously calling the move John is attempting a half nelson.

Man, Cyrus is coming across as a sociopath saying those sorts of things and doing those sorts of attacks to the most child-like of the people we're fighting.

Yeah, he is getting a little carried away. Maybe he thinks he can get away with it by blaming the forest.

Or maybe he's only been on one adventure before this one and he doesn't really know how not to do revenge-driven bloodthirst yet.

Not to mention when all you have are sharp instruments then by God you're going to want to poke people with those sharp instruments. Weka's just the first casualty. But not the last. And definitely not the first. And she's the second least likely to ~~talk~~ be useful anyway by Cy's reckoning. After the witch.
