So I just checked my e-mail and holy shit the zombie survival mmo I would occasionally play just jumped out of it's beta version into something that appears to be awesome and awesome at first glance.
I'm about to start playing, and I'm wondering if any NPFers played this back when it was beta and/or want to play this now. EDIT: Hang on, it's just the same thing, only it looks cooler. Still enough reason to play. Last edited by Aldurin; 10-16-2010 at 11:18 AM. |

Nice. This was a pretty fun game, but I did admittedly get bored of it within a few days. Graphics have been pumped significantly I see.

Been playing for a little bit, and I like what works.
Pros that I see: 1. The improved multiplayer makes it easy for everyone to be in the same area, I had some good firefights alongside four other people (even though I was technically stabbing instead of shooting). 2. Zombies can't really focus on multiple targets, I was able to backstab several that were after someone else. 3. Zombie appearances increase closer to outpost, reducing the distance you have to go to find something to kill. Just be aware of these issue: Connectivity is slow. I'm assuming admin didn't anticipate his server being hit so hard. I'm currently stuck in outpost as the server times out whenever I try to enter the Inner city. Taking items seems unstable at best. Game delayed for like 10 seconds after grabbing some money, and crashed when I looted a beer. Glitched zombies that won't die, fortunately they were also glitched to be nonaggressive, though I'm worried that it won't always be the case. I'm gonna keep checking up on this for the next month and see how the first debug overhaul goes. |
