I'm currently running a 1940's era Mutants and Masterminds game, and trying to work in memorable and original personalities for my group, as they play through world war 2, and drop in and out creating legacies and an alternate history for my game world, up to modern age.
Thing is, I'm taxed enough as it is, plotting out major deployment locations (Right now, they're in the Battle of Alam el Halfa, after halting the attack and turning the tide on Pearl Harbour roughly 6 months ago. I'm not going into details on that right yet). I'm looking, not for fully statted out villains or heroes (Unless you feel like it? It's Mutants and Masterminds 2ed, and there's no real rules or limits on power level for NPCs so go nuts), just, maybe a paragraph or two of backstory/origin of how you came to be, who you are, and where your loyalties lie. The loyalties is actually a pretty big point, since you can be loyal to an ideal, like Goodness, Justice, Chaos, etc. or to something as abstract as Patriotism. But mostly I'm looking for anything you can throw at me here! So far we have: - Lost German Time Traveller stuck without his time travel devices[Loyalty: Time Stream [Very Upset about Pearl Harbour failing]]; - Japanese-American Super Soldier, created by US Military [Loyalty: Patriotism (America)]; - Basically a Man-turned-Angel from a divine source, Canadian [Loyalty: Goodness, Justice]; - French-Canadian Scientist with the power to possess people, and to control their powers. Powers given through a radiation exposure accident, pre-manhattan project [Loyalty: Scientific Progress]; It's a weird group of players so far, and I'm open to unique and new characters from elsewhere. Lots of inter-character conflict, too. |
