Maybe I haven't been paying attention, or maybe I'm drunk and both are true!

Now that that's settled, what's going on? Brian owns the forum, Shiney has the server what which runs the forum and I'm the only one on the forum that uses the word 'betwixt!'

It's a real word, goddamnit!

My point is that whiskey reserves are low, and the populace is getting belligerent. ...Or curiously inquisitive. Or we're running out of whiskey. Either way, questions need answers! And whiskey!

So as far as I know (and I don't know much) Fenris, Krylo, Pos and Synk are moderators. Brian rarely comes around. Pierre comes around if there's a problem. Shiney's got a family who don't have accounts. I'm causing trouble. ...And that's all I know.

As of about a year or two ago, I think, Brian passed ownership of the forums to shiney since he didn't want anything to do with it anymore. So presumably that's going to Synk as well.

I'm not really sure what you are asking, so have some words that may or may not be relevant.

As far as I am concerned, shiney "owns" the forums, as they are hosted on his hosting and with his vBulletin license [unless this is still Brian's]. Technically Meister, Fenris, and myself all have admin-level access to the forum itself, but I have server-side access (in terms of files/uploads/etc., not in terms of hardware and troubleshooting if it crashes) and stewardship, for lack of a better word, of the vBulletin bit in case we have addons we come across that we like. I suppose in practice this puts me in a place of control over the forum, but honestly it's a web forum for a bunch of people who [hopefully?] get along so it's really our forum. I just happen to do stuff for it I guess.

While I'm, personally, more than happy to get any advice Brian might feel he wants to impart or suggestions/demands/etc. about the forum, it's my understanding that he doesn't really have a vested interest in it, at least in that sense -- I don't wish to imply he doesn't care, just that the forum isn't on his priority list like it used to be years back. Plus as Loyal said I think he was pretty interested in washing his hands of it. Don't let me put words in his mouth, though; that could be an incorrect impression of the situation.

I lol'd at this. He hasn't been involved with this place for some time. "Fuitad" last posted in the beginning of 2009, though I believe he was being a behind-the-scenes bauss with support into that year and maybe 2010.
