I'm gonna try to be significantly more awesome this year than I was last year (or at least marginally.) It's gonna be difficult, I was pretty magnificent last year, but I'm sure I'll be able to achieve this.

I also want to be a bit less up myself.

I could also do with new cape.

I resolved a week ago to do way more drugs and have way more sex than ever. It's already working out deliciously.

I resolved some time back not to make new year resolutions. EVER.

I mean why is there this whole "now that it's the new year we all have to change and be better" idea that people adhere to? Why don't people make resolutions at any other time in the year with as much fuss as at the time of new year? It's a bit stupid really.

The reason people do it is because it's a bit of a milestone in time. On New Years Eve, you tend to think back over what has happened over the past year, wether it is prompted or you come to this under your own power. But, as you go over it, you think about what you didn't like, and how you would change it. That's the basis of the New Year's Resolutions. Because the new year is traditionally a time of reflection.

Since my town went on a blackout from 00:05 untill 1am while i was on the beach, surrounded by 10,000+ drunken people i decided that my resolve would be to stay alive during 2007
