SOoo....Boise State lost: AKA: College FB thread!

The last thread seems to have fallen by the wayside so here's a new one!

Boise state lost last ngiht. A highly unexpected thing to happen. I was expecting oregon to fall last ngiht, as well as Auburn, but not Boise.

Also, WTF Auburn? really? I don't think you deserve to be number 2. You've spen more time losing your games than you have winning. (its true, they end more quarters trailing thier opponents than they do beating them). Seriously, WTF! Atleast I can say this, next week South Carolina gets another crack at you and you will fall! (i'm a gamecock fan!)

If USC wins next week against Auburn, (assuming they beat clemson tonight) do you think USC has any shot of maybe facing off against Boise? cause that would be fucking awesome!

Anyways, what are all your predictions for BCS and etc?

A three loss Gamecock team is not very likely to make it to the BCS Title game. I think if they had not lost to UK, they would have had a shot. I also think that they can beat Auburn. Ironically, SC could go to a BCS Bowl game and end up in a rematch against Unconn, which is poised to win the pathetic Big East this week. Personally, I believe that Wisconson is the best one loss team, they are just killing everyone they play now, and I think my Ohio State Buckeyes did a good job in holding them to 32 points. The Buckeyes are likely to go to either the Orange Bowl or the Sugar Bowl as an at large team, while TCU will like get slaughtered by Wisconson in the Rose Bowl.

I don't see Uconn and SC meeting up again in a bowl game this year since I see USC meeting up with someone at the Sugar Bowl after thoroughly whomping on Auburn this saturday. My bets on Stanford or OSU (please let it be OSU).

Unfortunately, SC could probably beat OSU in a bowl game, which is unfortunate. I have wanted the Buckeyes to get revenge for those two Outback Bowl losses for some time now. I have to admit that the Gamecocks are really good right now, and I am afraid that Ohio State might come into their bowl game with a deer caught in tail lights look. Both teams did crush their arch rivals last week. Depsite my aprehension, Buckeye fan who lives in South Carolina says "Bring it on!"

Too bad for South Carolina, I hope they enjoy the Outback bowl or the Chick Filet Bowl.

So I don't know if any of you heard about this, but when they came out with the strength of schedule reports, Ohio State was ranked 64th in SoS, and Boise State was ranked 62nd. That's right, Boise State had a better SoS than Ohio State. So much for Little Sisters of the Poor, eh?
