Hey y'all, I wrote a little blog about why I hate Tim Burton's Batman movies and it'd be cool to get some feedback on the quality of the writing. Here's the link. Some of the feedback has been positive and some of it has been pretty damn negative.
I'd really enjoy some feedback but I understand if some of you don't have the time. |

Still a million times better than the steaming Nolan turds.
If yo uwant comments on the writing style it is a bit scattergun- you need a thread to tie your points together rather than just point 1, point 2, point 3. |

I would like to have seen you elaborate more on why these films weren't true to the characters or overall theme of the comics, and more importantly why it would be important for them to do so.
IMO, Burton's films mimicked the comics visually where Nolan's films were much better at getting the point of Batman's exsistence. Neither films were technically very accurate to the literal storyline of, say, Silver or Modern-Age Batman, so it is very important to keep some core concepts in tact. One example you mentioned was Batman not killing anybody despite having the capcity for extreme violence. I don't know if you really explained why this was important to retain aside from mentioning that it didn't line up with the comic-book version of the character.
