This was originally going to be a thread about the Dishwasher: Vampire Smile XBLA game that was recently released. But then I realized the whole point I wanted to make a Dishwasher thread was to highlight one of the craziest video game foes that I've ever seen. Skip to 4:50 to see the zombie robot sharks in action.

So with that said, this thread is now about the craziest, wackiest, or just plain awesome enemies in video games.

You have not seen wacky enemies until you have played Baten Kaitos.

By which I mean that Geldoblame is the single most wtf-y enemy I have ever encountered that didn't have things shooting out of their crotch regions. Seriously, that shit is bananas. Note that the wtfery begins at around 3:26 or so.

Incidentally, you do indeed encounter said monsters in Baten Kaitos. By which I mean that there is an actual monster type that has an eyeball firing death-lasers at you embedded in its crotch. And the best part is that those aren't just bosses, they're regular enemies. So you eventually get used to having crotch beams shot at you.

Outside of the extended acid trip that is Baten Kaitos... I guess the fact that you can fight sentient, spell-casting desserts in Final Fantasy is pretty odd? But after Baten Kaitos, my bar for wtf is probably abnormally high.

After watching that Baten Kaitos I noticed two things:

The combat system is vastly improved in Origins
Geldoblame looks really different from what he looked in Origins, then...WTF? O_o

In Super Paper Mario, Mimi can be a bit...disturbing.

The running bombers in Serious Sam are awesome. (look around 1:40)

Crazy enemies? The final boss of House of the Dead: Overkill...yeah, it's weird also NSFW in so many ways. Oh, and since it's the final boss, expect huge spoilers. Not putting a link here BTW :P
