So I'm looking around the tubes, and I found this story:

I remember this when I was living on the west coast. Problem is, it's only in four states. I absolutely loved that restaurant and strongly recommend everyone to try it when they're in town. If only they had Yoshinoya in the survey...

Anyway, it's been proven. More In-n-Out for all! Cave Johnson demands it!

Can you tell me why you recommend it? I'm not a goto for burgers much any more, since I've made the switch to turkey burgers. (Have a hard time eating regular burgers, since I start feeling bloated after just one.)

That, and I think my taste buds aren't the way they used to be.

I can have them, but they are far from my favorite meal.

Anyway, I'll be up in San Diego next week, & might try to locate one that's near the trolley line. (I'm hoofing it the whole trip, so no cars. And I don't believe this is worth a taxi ride.)

(You have only one guess why I'd be in San Diego next week.)

Oh man will your tastebuds be in heaven when you have a 3x3 (3 meats, 3 cheese)or an animal style (all sauces) burger.

Thing is, it's hard to describe how InO tastes so damned good. The fries are fresh and the burgers come from their plant in Utah. Either way, it's hard to explain the taste of it, but I can only say that when you go... GET ONE! You'll thank me later.

Whelp. I don't live anywhere near an In-and-Out Burger Joint (I'm, like, ten-ish states away from the nearest one?), so I'm just going to be enjoying my current favorite: Five Guys. For Science. (When a pregnant wife actually feels like stopping at five-guys).

Still, sounds tasty.

I have never seen an In-N-Out burger. I always assumed it was some form of innuendo.

I had In N Out last time I was in Las Vegas. I must say I can understand why the United States is an obese country- its fast food is pretty damn good, in certain places. Burger places around here suck- it's either McDonalds or Burger King. Harveys is good but there aren't as many as McDs, and it's not as good as In N Out.

Even then, most fast food real estate in southern Ontario seems to be taken up by the increasingly shitty Tim Hortons.

I just hope someday they add poutine to their menu.

Even when poutine is bad its good.

I am so fucking sick of Tim Hortons, I'm becoming increasingly convinced that people only go there out of some perceived obligation to their Canadian heritage.

But yes, I find it quite disturbing that all of the fast food burger joints I've gotten sick of are apparently, like, bottom of the barrel. The true Eden of burgers lies in the wastelands of America, and if I am to receive true flavor enlightenment, I must apparently brave the bigotry, the scooters, and the lack of free healthcare.

Aye, this is a quest that will require all of my grit and determination. 'Twill be safer with a group. I shall post a request at yon guildhall, and mayhaps I will find faithful travelling companions on whom to rely. Wish me luck.

So there are rumors they are putting in a Five Guys a literal 7-10 minute walk from where I currently live. Am I destined to become a walking flesh mountain like the other 90% of America now?
