I had a Thing written up about this, but I don't really want to drag you guys down. In any case, I'm takin' off.

I'll be in contact with synk about owner/leadership moving forward. I'm not forcing synk to take it up because for all we know synk has better things to do too. I won't leave you guys twisting in the wind and I will make sure that all applicable logins and/or passwords are handed off, domains are transferred or whatever necessary. I'll continue hosting the site on my webserver free of charge for as long as needed.

I don't know what else to say since I feel kind of weird about this, but I guess ultimately I am just outgrowing NPF and moving on and I don't want to hold you guys to the standard I set if it doesn't mesh with the direction the community is taking.

I know we've had our occasional disagreements, but I'm very sad to hear this, Shiney.
Good luck in the future to you and your family, bro.

...And don't be afraid to stop by and visit from time to time, even if only to say hi. Even if you're stepping down, there's no need to completely disappear on us.

NPF has been a great constant for me throughout these past eight years or so of transition. Thanks for providing this haven to me and everyone else here. If not for this forum, I'd be a much worse person today. So, I owe you a lot.
