A Chik-Fil-A franchise owner did something good.
This is unrelated to Chik-Fil-A's corporate dealings, which is still funneling money into hate groups.

yes he did
I dont believe anyone said it wasn't. But its nice to have some good news about charity as opposed to the hate and bile thats normally found on the internet.

Given that the article is from Christian website dismissing the criticism against Chik-Fil-A and using the actions of one franchise owner as defense of the entire company's bigoted actions and stating that it was the company's Christian values that influenced the employees decision, then lamenting at the end that this story probably won't get the same degree of recognition that the company's continuing donations of millions of dollars to literal hate groups is.
It is very much saying it wasn't. I applaud the actions of this one franchise. This is what they should be doing. But the obvious attempt to use it to pretend like this outweighs the company's wrongdoings is sickening.

That's so PC of you

yeah the text is pretty much written to absorb this one man's action (and that of his staff of course) as if it was corporate thinking and initiative when it's not...
Actually that diminishes a good deed, because it seems like that staff would've done the same regardless of the logo on the top of their shop... |
