Online Surveys etc

Everyone knows (or should know) that any site that promises to make you money for doing nothing or next to nothing is probably a scam at worst and an exaggerated claim at best.

But, I imagine there must be some sites that offer these things legitimately, I've gotten paid by consumer opinion groups before. My question is has anyone ever used a service like this that actually paid off at all and if so, was it worth your time or did it provide any significant level of supplemental income?

I'm running into the problem in searching for this kind of thing where half the "Is this a scam" searches only turn up suspiciously positive reviews of the sites in questions. I'm thinking the worst thing on even a legitimate 'survey' site or whatever would be all the spam for "free trial offers" or whatever.

I've done it, but online surveys honestly take too damn long for anything to come up worthwhile.

This is mostly because half the surveys you get say "Oops you totally don't fit for this one kthxbye" near the beginning or middle, while about a quarter of the surveys you get pull that off after you finish the fucking survey. Most of the rest of them are about stuff you have zero interest in, while the rest(2-3%, I guess?) you will actually complete and get credit for.

All while the crap floods your inbox.

It really isn't worth the time at the end of it.

Nique, you have a Zazzle store. I honestly think this is the easiest way to get real cash with no scam and low effort.

When mine was around it took a couple of months to get things rolling and doing some ad work online, but after that i got constant $30 checks every month while sitting on my ass.

I can not, for the life of me, remember a single other method online that offers that stuff.

It'a all pyramid schemes or flat out spam scams, and the very few ones that do give you something for it, offer like, cents for your work requiring you to put as much time in it as you would to get to the end game of a MMO every month

Although the Zazzle store is fun it's pretty minimal cash coming in. I've received one check so far after months.

Also there appears to be sites popping up where people ask for donations with the goal of getting 1 million people to loan them one dollar each or something. Half of me goes 'UGH. Scam!' and the other half desperately wants that to work. I am somewhat thankful for being half-way intelligent because I'm starting to see how some people might fool themselves into thinking this easy money stuff will work.

Yeah, there are a few legitimate sites, but it's difficult to earn any significant amount of money and sometimes they take a while to process. If you really need $20, though, it could work.

Often they also have various offers, e.g. X dollars to try a website--those usually pay better because they require a credit card, but it's extra hassle (canceling during the trial period, making sure you actually get credited) and you have to be careful. I've yet to run into an outright scam (a decent survey site won't link those), but many of them are "legitimate" with quotation marks.

I'm into one of these survey things, and so far I got about 11 USD, it took me a while to get those 11 USD with surveys that gave me around 30 cents or something but, then a survey that was worth 7 USD came in. It was slow to get the money and to get it transfered into my paypal account but, I got to buy something online without a credit card
