Default About renewable energy resources – A basic idea

There are four important renewable energy resources – sun, wind, tides and biomass. Among these, wind and solar energy possesses the maximum potential for further developments. These are also considered to be the highly profitable energy investment platforms.
Renewable energy resources have created a lot of interest in people these days, as they are highly cost effective, when compared to traditional energy resources. Countries like Spain, Germany, India and China have started using wind power for the production of electricity. As renewable energy resources can be easily replenished they are considered as a good investment platform by most of the energy investor.
The greatest source of energy, among the renewable energy resources, is sun. Solar energy is used for lighting offices and residential areas. Sun is also responsible for the varying pattern of wind. Hence sun energy and wind energy are closely related.
In the situation that’s prevailing now, where the intensity of atmospheric pollution is very high, use of renewable energy not only reduces the rate of pollution, but also helps us to save a lot of money. Hence many people have started using renewable energy resources, replacing fossil fuels.
The use of renewable energy has also made many companies open lucrative investment options in renewable energy. Research works have been going on to find out all the possible ways to exploit the renewable energy resources to fullest, as well as to find out all the possible lucrative investment options in renewable energy.
To get a more comprehensive idea on renewable energy resources, you can conduct a web search on the keyword news renewable energy.

Honestly this looks a lot like some sort of ad spam, but since that site doesn't seem to immediately want your money or anything, I guess we have a renewable energy discussion thread now.

Technical tidbit: Tidal power is not infinitely renewable. It saps a tiny but cumulative amount of the moon's momentum. It'd probably be good to invest in it to slow down the moon's orbit and keep it from leaving us.

But if we're thinking of that kind of long term planning we'd have to consider the sun isn't renewable either. . .

On a long enough time scale we're all fucked anyway. I say, if it doesn't rely on something we're going to run out of in 200 years, we're good.

Plus, y'know, not polluting the shit out of everything. That helps.
