Yasi is hitting them pretty hard now.
Those folks just can't catch a break. In any event, looking up images and video about Yasi got me looking up images and video of nature phenomena. This included [you can find various things just by searching] the following: sink holes (egs. Great Blue Hole, Glory Hole [no, you jerks, not ones in bathroom stalls; though these kind are also man-made], that one in Guatemala) the "Door to Hell" black holes tornadoes (big ones from Manitoba, for example, came up a lot) cyclones/hurricanes -- generally just going for timelapse captures from satellite footage here random things caught in Google Earth I am thinking another topic to peruse videos and images of will be lightning, but I am going to catch a few hours of sleep now. In an effort to make this a thread, please feel free to post links to neat/scary/interesting nature videos you have. And, in tune with the original purpose of me looking for hurricane video, say a word for Australia.

Not quite natural but on the subject of sinkholes, don't drill into salt mines beneath lakes.

I actually used to do a bit of cave exploring and found an underground lake. Then I got blown up by a creeper.
I need to go outside more. |

To be fair, this is what you should expect living in Australia. It's nature's death machine.
