Short version: RENT THIS! DO IT NAO!
Long version: This thing is made up of tons of solid individual pieces and works darn well. So far it's all been rock solid play. So without further ado: Bowling: Okay, imagine bowling. Now imagine bowling where you steer the ball. Now imagine bowling where you steer the ball and can make it jump and detonate it at any time. That's pretty much what you have here. You can also move your avatar around, but it's not terribly important. Shooting: You go around protecting cages with innocents in them, with robots making cages lower and you raising them back up via proximity. You get a small automatic gun which is best used in short bursts to kill the attacking robots. Pretty simple. Combat: Flicking your wand makes your avatar attack in that direction, which you can use to hit around blocking enemies. Flicking up is pretty much a "fuck you." You can also dodge. The "real" point is to save babies and give them back to their mother, but honestly that's just to give you another goal to perform in the time limit and a reason to move around the field. Frisbee: Imagine Frisbee. Now imagine playing Frisbee with the fucking Glaive. That's pretty much what you have here. You throw a bladed disc and steer it around the field to break things. If you run out of discs, you can move around and grab more. As I said, it all works quite well. It's not terribly deep, but it is fun. It's almost like a party game, only it only allows up to 2 players. Player 2 is also surprisingly fun to play, because it acts like a rail shooter with the path controlled by player 1, and you can touch your wands together to unleash a massive explosion in some cases. There's no head-to-head, but co-op is great.
