Exactly, I get the feelings that unless the bullets are made of silver, (some passing comment she made to muttonchops) Kit won't die, they'll just hurt like hell, maybe even have her out of commission for awhile.

PS did anyone else find Liz's cry in the last panel an answer as to whether or not she actually cared? I thought that was kind of sweet. You know, a good way to show she's not all bad, despite their obvious rivalry.

Yes, and this little demon sticking out of her head that is hidden under her hat has a single horn sticking out of its own head. But it too is wearing a hat, with little demons A-Z inside.
