I'd be content if the entire rep thing were done away with, really. It is nice and all when one gets recognized or thanked for a nice post or good advice. When it basically becomes a numbers game of rep power or rep given for shits n giggles just because it kinda loses all intended purpose. Seeing more instances of 'oh, a post from so and so. Gonna rep 'em regardless!'

Just seems...trite.

Longshort of it: stopped caring about it long ago. Was quite fine when it was taken off a while back because of rep abuse. Gotta poopoo on somethin.

Anyways the rep whoring thing was more or less dealt away with when we removed the ability to sort memberlist via rep. Now it's like "I have x number of gems" but it doesn't go any further than that so meh.
