So we are clear

This is more of a general comment then on a particular article. There is something I dont get. Everytime someone is caught attempting something with the plane they say they need to tighten security. My question is why. The very fact that they caught the person shows that the system in place worked, not that it failed. I mean do people really expect them to not even try anymore? Plus the only way to be 100% secure would be if they started doing full body cavity searches on all passengers. But evey then you would still find people trying to sneak C4 in their rectum, then what will people say, you need to get tighter security? What are they gonna do keep on adding restrictions until flying so such a hassle no one wants to bother anymore?
I know I'm already looking at train tickets
