And hey, Rayleen wouldn't be playing the card for Impact. He'd be given rank for the good of all of Homnyr. It wouldn't be "I wanna be a general". It'd be "Rayleen, there's two choices here. You can put me in charge, or someone less competent. Put me in charge, I can win this. I know what to do, I can arrange things. Organize them. You trust Renny. I know you do. And sure, within the Watchmen the rank would be purely cosmetic, something to be called upon in desparate situations. Outside of PATCA? He'll be a captain, or field commander, or whatever his rank will be. It'd be a start.
