California Young Playwrights Contest

Do you live in California? Are you under the age of 19? Do you like to write? If you answered yes to all of those questions then this is for you.

It's a contest for young playwrights who are interested in having their work evaluated and/or professionally produced in San Diego. As a sixteen year old who loves writing and has been in his fair share of plays, I felt that this was right up my alley so I submitted my entry just a couple moments ago.

It seems like a great opportunity for me to try and get my foot in the door of the writing world. I love writing, my dream has always been to write comics professionally, so I think its cool to be given a chance to have my writing critiqued professionally.

The deadline for entries is June 1st and the results should come in in September. If any of you guys fit the criterion to enter this contest, please do.
