Arkham City with Spoilers

In case it wasn't clear, this is about Arkham City and it has SPOILERS , 'kay?









SO...


Just finished the game. Awesome game, really fun to play, really engaging story, all the characters are wonderfull, the animations and voice acting are unbelivable good...

But here is one thing i got nudged about...

It was made very, very clear... by Mr Freeze that he could not produce anymore of the cure. There was only one vial of it. Batman took half, the rest got smashed.

So... all those innocent people on multiple Hospitals all around that got infected by Joker's blood... they died! Thousands, literally.

The game has a metric stuff for you to do and some of it hints at what will com next in the series, so i can't really say that the ending was "too open ended" ... because it actually felt more like an interlude between stories than an actual ending.

Another tiny hole in the plot is when you find Harley tied up... later on you learn that was Talia how did it, and she did it to take the cure back, to protect Batman. So.... why she let Joker capture her? I mean.... she knows Joker is going to die, and she has no qualms on killing him... like... at all. Actually, she barely cares about Batman who she actually loves...

Seems weird, to me, that she would go through the trouble of actually letting herself get capture just so she could steal the cure... didn't joke Notice that Harley wasn't around? Could she send the cure to batman? Couldn't she simply kills the Joker? I mean... it's not like batman NEEDS to track her to find Joker, he already knows where he is! For fuck sakes the guy keeps CALLING batman to remind him!!

i guess Talia's place in this game felt a little to... forcibly feed in, they could play to batman's emotional side with Catwoman, having him rescue her after she saves him from joker.

Maybe it has something to do with that Lazaru's pit Joker has hiden in the Movie Theater... (at least i think it was one, i mean... he acts like it is, but the game never explains that)... also, if he HAS one... why the hell didn't he use before? It's like it's going to corrupt him MORE...

My feelings about the end was that they tried to open up more characters into the story (there are lazaru's pits... so it's not like any deaths are really permanent. Specially Talia's and Ra's...) but in the end it was changed so that Mark Hammil wouldn't have to come back as the joker (he made pretty clear it was his last time as the character, and he wanted a big ending for it)

So, a little rant to share with those that don't mind spoilers or want to talk about Arkham City and where the next game is coming (the side quests and Harley being pregnant are pretty big clues...)
