The Bureau of Infernal Affairs is a little known office within the Ministry of Public Works. In theory the Bureau is responsible for defending all under heaven against the supernatural. In reality, there just isn’t anything supernatural to defend against. The dynasty's dog catchers are both busier and more respected!

This is by design. For a thousand years the Bureau has served its Emperors as a dumping ground for misfits. It's where incompetent managers and bothersome officers are sent to keep them out of trouble.

A retelling of the story in the all-ages Marvel Adventures line, written by Brian Clevinger and drawn by Brian Churilla, was released in August 2010. This version features Spider-Man, the Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Wolverine, and Doctor Doom fighting Thanos after he uses the Gauntlet to kill half the population of the Universe. Doom betrays the Avengers and seizes the gauntlet for himself, but fails to get it to work culminating in Spider-Man using the Gauntlet to erase the entire adventure from history, with only him and Thanos remembering what took place.

Erica Henderson of current Squirrel Girl fame, will be the artist for this project- and also has experience working with this crew on Atomic Robo: Real Science Adventures Volume 1 & 2.

Erica Henderson will draw and color INFERNAL AFFAIRS. She’s the artist behind Marvel’s Unbeatable Squirrel-Girl, she’s drawn for Atomic Robo: Real Science Adventures Vol 1 and 2, Sub-Atomic Party Girls for Monkey Brain comics, and she’s done short stories for Marvel and Valiant.

B. Clevinger, the mind behind 8-bit Theater and enough other projects to actually warrant his own wiki page is also involved as the writer alongside L. Black.

It looks like it could be a fun read.

The Kickstarter rewards look okay. It'll be available in webcomic format next year. Wallpapers, digital and physical prints are available via kickstarter.
