"Two on one, is that it?" Charlotte called over to Moon. She didn't doubt Pike's ability to defeat both of them on his own, but he was getting a bit ruffed up. She would typically say something along the lines of, 'that isn't very fair to you' but the truth was that she would need to use a second pokemon to take them on.

"Your beginning to piss me off so I guess I'm going to end this quick," she called out to her adversary as she lifted a pokeball from her coat, "it takes more than one dog to make a pack anyways." With her banter over, Charlotte clicked the button on her pokeball and released Spitz.

"Spitz, sick 'em," she commanded. Snarling, Spitz released a quick dark pulse at the unfortunate Lanturn. The dark energy making a swift bee-line from the ground before spits to the fish. "Pike rip the other one apart," she commanded shortly after. The Manetric instinctively charge another Thunder and blasted it at the Polywrath, the large blast of electricity darting towards the frog. Hopefully, Moon would be down soon. Either way, Charlotte would make a point of showing her who was the better trainer. She might take a kick or a punch at the criminal to if she can find a way of doing without being charged for unnecessary force.

(Wait, why does our team only have 3 fighters? Couldn't Charlotte delpoy another pokemon? Also, Isaac has solid rock, so solar beam isn't horribly threatening. Then again, it does 2.66 times the damage, so maybe it is. Also, can our pokemon die?)

Impact watched the finally frozen Garchomp topple, briefly mesmerized by the chunks and slivers of ice, cascading across the battlefield, pieces of skin, bones, even its head. Then he shook it off and surveyed the battlefield. His cloak was effective protection against the hail, but he began to feel chilled as the wind picked up and there seemed to be more ice in the air. There were now two water pokemon on the field, and he thought he'd be able to be moderately effective against them, but his LH launcher was still going strong, he had managed to pick up his HV rifle, and they had planned for him to counter the leaf trainer, so he moved closer to where Matthias was battling Roserade, while speaking rapidly into his communicator. "Impact here, I'm going for the leaf trainer. Matt, if we target that abomasnow, we might be able to stop its blizzard in its tracks. Charlotte, can you deploy another pokemon, keep the water trainer at bay? Also, Princess, I need more ammo. Can you get to me?" Without waiting for a reply he once again slung the LH launcher over his shoulder, quickly reloaded the HV rifle (he had dropped one clip during the fire storm, so this was his last one) and took aim at the abomasnow. He hadn't studied this one's physiology, so he just took aim at the head and fired off a few bursts, ready to throw himself down, should the blizzard start up in earnest.

Matthias looked at the two pokemon, again dismissing Protect. It wouldn't protect his allies and the enemies could just do the same thing the following turn.

He regarded the two attacked, realizing that his chances of dodging both was also slim to none. The Blizzard was the far more imminent threat, not to mention this hail had been going on for far too long. It needed to be stopped. He arrived at the same conclusion as Impact, ignoring his remark, and decided to target the Abomasnow and just bare through the Shadow Ball.

He held out a hand, flat towards the sky and formed a ball of poisonous sludge in it, immediately throwing it like a major league pitcher at the Abomasnow

Sludge Bomb!

Immediately after throwing it he braced himself for the pain that was sure to follow, for sure from the Shadow Ball and possibly from the Blizzard.

Pierce smiled, but the battle was far from over. And, even with the threat of Jynx eliminated, he had another problem. Evangeleen had just deployed a Magnezone, and it knew Explosion. That meant they could wait until Perish Song's death counters expired and then fuck Renny's and his shit right up. Fortunately, Eva didn't seem like the smartest cookie. Pierce would've waited until the death counters expired and then deployed Magnezone.

"Renny, focus everything on that Magnezone. Blaziken, Tyranitar, use Focus Blast and Sky Uppercut!" Pierce called. Tyranitar placed his hands together and a ball of spirit energy materialized between them, which then flew at Magnezone at the same time that Blaziken came in with a powerful uppercut.

With the train the original plan was put having an accident, there was no options other than joining the battle in the parking lot.

After a Rock Climb to the surface, Rakald saw one of the suspects engaging the legendary Pokémon in combat. Fire types didn't look like something that offered much of a fighting chance against Heatran.

"Mud Slap!" He shouted as he swung his blade, causing it to launch a stream of thick dark mud aimed at Heratran's eyes.

Renny glanced at Pierce briefly with complete acknowledgment, knowing firsthand Magnezone's power. However, there was little that his Magnezone could do against its own kind. Plus it was getting pretty obvious that it taken a big beating.

"Swampert, target that Magnezone. My friend, you rest up a bit."

Renny took one of his other pokeballs and smirked as something came to mind. A sort of irony, using an eevee evolution on the members of the evil eevee eight.

"You two might find this next one interesting! Toxic!"

Renny tossed the ball in mid-air, with Umbreon focusing its ire on Frolass, as it shook its sleek shiny coat and emitted highly toxic sweat from its pores, splashing them on the ghostly ice type. Now they didn't have to directly attack it and risk a destiny bond

Swampert rushed with power imbued fists toward the opposing Magnezone, intent on completing the fast beatdown before its destructive retribution. However, its mind was starting to feel the effects of his prolonged emotional outburst as well as the mental assault from Frolass.

------------
Swampert attempts to hit Magnezone for dragon damage (not very effective against steel type). 3rd turn of outrage done. Should snap out of it. Already confused so the drawback doesn't really come into play.

Magnezone switched out and Umbreon is switch in and uses Toxic on Frolass. Increasing poison damage every round. Doesn't trigger Destiny Bond this way. :3

Isaac took the shadow punch like a champ, it wasn’t really that strong of an attack though in-fact all it really did was piss him off, physical attacks can’t break through his defense. The solar beam being charged up was though and that could do some massive damage.

He didn’t expect the Ariados to have a solar beam what with it being a bug Pokemon, definitely did not expect it. There was only one thing he could do if he wanted to save his ass, and that was to Paradigm Shift. “Paradigm SHIFT” Isaac yelled, he then started his transformation.

((So how does a Pokebird look like when he Paradigm Shifts, because aren't we already sort of werepokemon.))

Part 1 Synopsis (Main Entrance Battle): Abomasnow is downed...hardcore downed. Not many Pokémon get struck by three different attacks, each exploiting a different weakness all in the same instant. Poor, poor bastard. Anyways, Shannon replaces Abomasnow with Cacturne. Matthias takes a Shadow Ball to the face and nearly avoids blowing up along with the police car Rapidash accidently ignited with Flare Blitz. Cacturne is about to smash Impact's skull in with Focus Punch. Poliwrath struck and confused Spitz the Mightyena with a lucky Dynamic Punch. Lanturn blasted Pike the Manetric with Hydro Pump, putting Pike in the red.

Lanturn and Poliwrath received their punishment from Pike and Spitz, and remained battle capable like professionals. Moon smirked vilely. "I take pride in showing fools the almighty power of water. Behold!"

Abomasnow wasn't having the best of days. The same strategy Impact bested the Rampardos with also worked on Abomasnow and with Matthias's Sludge Bomb, Abomasnow was forced back towards the parking lot...where it was suddenly set ablaze. A Rapidash in mid-Flare Blitz was apparently knocked aside by Heatran to crash into Abomasnow...and a police car...which set it on fire, too. Rapidash was quick on getting up and getting back into the fight with Heatran, but the scouter still picked up its data, for what that was worth.

Rapidash (Fire Type) [Male]
Moves: Flare Blitz / Take Down / Bounce / Overheat
Ability: Flash Fire

Abomasnow, flailing wildly with a burning body, was brutally crushed by the deadly combination of Impact's HV Penetrator and a flying Rapidash in the middle of a Flare Blitz. It was funny how these things happened. With Abomasnow downed and returned to its Pokéball, the blizzard finally subsided and warmth began to return. Shannon didn't say anything and simply tossed another ball. The scouters locked onto the emerging Pokémon and identified it as Shannon's Cacturne.

Cacturne (Grass/Dark Type) [Male]
Moves: Needle Arm / Sucker Punch / Focus Punch / Destiny Bond
Ability: Sand Veil

Then it came down to the enemy trainers to order their Pokémon into battle. Roserade's Shadow Ball smacked Matthias solidly, knocking him down. An "oh, shit!" moment gave him the energy to resist the pain at least long enough to get up and move forward just as the police car Rapidash ignited exploded. There was so much damn fire around that Matthias was starting to sweat in more ways than one. Cacturne blindly charged Impact with a Focus Punch at the ready, and Impact had time to at least try to do something about it. Moon's Pokémon were focused on Charlotte's Pokémon. The Poliwrath gave Spitz hell with a Dynamic Punch, launching Spitz into one of the police cars. Charlotte's scouter identified Spitz as being confused now. Pike joined Spitz at the police cars after receiving a powerful blast of water from Lanturn's Hydro Pump. Pike was on its last bit of strength.

Part 2 Synopsis (Roof Battle): Evangaleen's Magnezone got fucked, plain and simple. Evangaleen deployed Lambdavolt, her Jolteon, and it has an item! A fucking item! Anyways, Lambdavolt is already using Dig, Froslass uses Destiny Bond, Weavile is attempting to smack Umbreon with Focus Punch, and Luxray paralyzes Blaziken. Deathclocks on all four allied Pokémon are at one.

Evangaleen's Magnezone wasn't one to fly at particularly high altitudes, but the trio of Tyranitar, Blaziken, and Swampert taught it how really damn quick. One would swear they heard "Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off agaaaaaaain!!" as Magnezone ventured beyond the stratosphere. A large anime-style sweat drop appeared in Evangaleen's hair.

"Well," Evangaleen said, disbelieving. "Fuck."

"Get back to fighting, Evangaleen. I'm sure the police will find it in pieces stuck in some tree." Garus said without sympathy.
Evangaleen turned back and somberly fished out another Pokéball. "Well, if he's going to bring an Eeveelution into the field, I can use mine as well."
Garus didn't feel like chiding her about the fact that the gang usually waiting until they were down to their last Pokémon to deploy their favorites, but swallowed his words. Evangaleen was having a shitty enough day as it was. At least Luxray still looked healthy. "Grrrr, I've had it!" Evangaleen roared. "Lambdavolt, tear them asunder with your thunder!"

Lambdavolt, Evangaleen's Jolteon, stood proudly on the battered roof. The scouters provided the data as they usually did.

Jolteon [Lambdavolt] (Lightning Type) [Female]
Moves: Thunder / Discharge / Dig / Iron Tail
Ability: Volt Absorb
Held Item: Expert Belt

Lambdavolt was already underground...on the roof of a bank? How that works is already mindboggling, but Pokémon like Blaziken and Tyranitar were in deep shit. Not to mention that the deathclocks were at one now. Froslass engaged its Destiny Bond. Weavile sighted Renny's Umbreon and charged it with Focus Punch. Luxray regained its senses and froze Blaziken in its tracks with Thunder Wave. Obviously, Evangaleen intended for Lambdavolt to take the Blaziken down.

-----

Part 3 Synopsis (Parking Lot Battle): Bretton temporarily joins the party, seeing the smartness in teaming against Heatran.

Rayleen started to try and climb her way out through the hole Heatran left behind, but couldn't. "Be careful up there, Bone Knight!" Rayleen called after Rakald. "I'll join you as soon as I deal with Crobat down here."

A Rapidash joined Rakald. One of Bretton's fire Pokémon. Bretton seemed like the "don't give a shit" type who would take help anywhere he could get it. "Hey, glad to have you, even if you look like an enemy. That your girlfriend down there? She sounds hot. Anyways, could you lend a hand? Heatran's making a mess of my Pokémon."

Heatran backed away and shook away the mud from its eyes, then set its sights on Rakald. Bretton's Camerupt joined Rakald on his other flank. The guy was really too trusting with who he allied with. The flames being given off by Rapidash and Camerupt's volcanic humps made him uncomfortably warm, but at least he didn't have to worry about fighting Bretton's Pokémon at the same time as Heatran.

-----

Part 4 Synopsis (Rear Entrance Battle): Isaac has just become awesome.

It was like playing Pokémon Mystery Dungeon...Isaac was a bona fide Rhyperior with a human mind and soul! SolarBeam blasted him square in the chest, and it did hurt like hell, but not nearly as much as it clearly should have. Dusknoir and Ariados surveyed their changed opponent, and they didn't look as fearsome as they were before. Isaac's mind contemplated one important thing above all others...he was going to kick the everloving shit out of these poor, foolish bastards.

Dusknoir tried to inflict Isaac with Confuse Ray. Funny thing was, Isaac didn't feel particularly confused. Oh, this power was astounding.

Impact's eyes widened once again, as a glowing shape sprang from Shannon's pokeball, took the shape of a Cacturne and began attacking him before it was even fully formed. He had lowered the HV rifle after taking out the Abomasnow, and now raised it again, first steadily, then, as he realised that the opposing pokemon was not only attacking, but about to smash its thorny fist down on his head, with far more urgency. When he realised exactly what this attack was going to be -he had never been hit by focus punch, but he had observed a gang battle where it was used, and it was a killer- he uttered a soft, barely audible "Oh dear". A millisecond later his trigger finger was applying pressure and his gun (aimed roughly at the mutant cactus' chest, and that was good enough for him at this range) let loose a storm of high-velocity bullets.

He had 18 rounds left in this (his last, he realized) magazine, but before he had even emptied the clip he realized that, even should his attacks deal enough damage, the fist that was already just beginning to move would still come down most heavily upon his unprotected body. This realization bypassed his conscious mind and went straight to his legs, prompting him to leap aside, away from the swinging fist, while still firing. Had a talented photographer taken a picture there and then, the shot would have shown the Cacturne, towering over Impact, its fist beginning the sort of swing that could easily shatter boulders, Impact, accelerating sideways through the air, his feet just having left the ground, rifle still pressed to his shoulder, the final bullet just being ejected from the barrel toward the Cacturne's head (recoil had pushed the barrel up). Two rounds that hadn't yet travelled the distance between the rifle and the Cacturne, and would have been seen, frozen in mid-air, but still filled with terribly destructive kinetic energy. Impact's eyes would have been closing in preparation of the strike, his lips forming a "God dammit" that was silent, but full of emphasis.

Impact could see the freeze-frame shot in his mind as he leapt, was suddenly, despite having just closed his eyes, acutely aware of everything around him, the musky-leafy smell of the Cacturne, the texture of the rifle in his hands, the vibrations that rippled through him as the last bullet left the rifle, the small sonic booms that each round made as it accelerated to Mach 4. And beyond that, the rest of the battle, his allies -for once he found no difficulty in thinking this word- fighting their own battles against their individual foes and targets, he could feel the atmosphere of combat, of struggles going back and forth, of strength meeting strength. Despite fear and adrenaline, he felt tranquil, content, even self-aware. He briefly smiled to himself, mentally, not physically, realized that this moment would have to be analyzed, and pleased to have discovered something such as this in the middle of combat. Then the eye of the storm, the sense of calm he had felt, passed him by, and suddenly things started happening very quickly.

The shadow ball collided with Matthias, causing him to collide with pavement. Damnit those hurt! Note to self: Let the Solarbeam hit you. It would hurt less.

He stood to get his second realization. There was a lot of fire around him. On the plus side the explosion had missed and fire didn't spread naturally across pavement. On the other hand the fire trainer and Heatran were tossing fireballs at each other like there was no tomorrow. And he was terribly close to it.

Focus on the mission Matthias. Focus.

He stood and turned his attention away from the fire, taking in his and Impact's fight with the grass pokemon and Charlotte's fight with the water pokemon. He also noticed Charlotte's team was going down rather quickly and had an epiphany for avoiding the fire and helping her out.

Ursurang. Switch targets to the Cacturne and the Roserade. I'll take over against the water types.

He moved out of the inferno towards the water pokemon, focusing on the Poliwrath.

Psychic!
