So, a hugely popular series in Japan, that is hardly known outisde of the Eastern world, due to licensing hell... a SRPG spanning and mixing every piece of Gundam Story.

The last game we got was for the PS2 and the Wii, G Gen Wars, a celebration of the 30 years of the Gundam Franchise. It covered the major stories and movies up to the First half of Gundam 00.

Now we get G Gen World, Due to release this February. So... what you get in this game?

50 Gundam Series (20 more than the previous one, spanning Movies and Sidestories)
Make your own pilot
Only for the PSP and WII

It has brand new gundam series Like Gundam Katana and Unicorn, It has Gundam Seed Astray, Sengokuden Gundam And the full 00 Gundam series and Movie


The last game had 700 Units you could play with or against, and covered 30 series. This one covers all of those and 20 extra ones.

So, i can honestly tell ya i'm excited about it!

Whoa wait. Gundam Katana!? DAMNIT WHY WASN'T I INFORMED!?

Still been meaning to play one of these. I still have hope that at least this or one of the future titles will get a surprise release here to the states.

a snowball in hell has a better chance. The only games released were the spinoffs Original Generation for the Gameboy advanced, and those didn't get very far

Awww. Of all the ones to get we got that one. Not that it's bad, though the "open your top, revealing cleavage = Limit Brake" thing seems too weird even for my tolerance. Still might track it down though.

It really is a fun game though, i have Wars for the Wii, and it's an absolute blast if you love this sort of Gaming and Gundam in general.

If it was cheaper, i would honestly recomend importing it right now in Pre-order form...

Also, if you like more a Super Robot theme, with much less customization but a more colofrul cast you could also opt for Super Robot Taizen Z 2 which is ALSO coming out in February
