I do have to say, I wish that there was some cheap brick and mortar place to browse random old games, and rent them on a whim. Yeah, there are Red Boxes, but those generally only have a very limited selection of new releases.

When BB came to town, no less than 4 of my local much-loved video and game rental stores closed up shop because they couldn't compete. I had friends there, relationships even though I was just a kid. They always held the NES games I wanted to rent aside and saved them for me. Mostly because in scenarios like that its killed by something even larger. If not even Blockbuster could survive than pretty much any brick and mortar store will fail.

Again not sure if you have them there but Family Video is kind of like that just more for movies. Most of their selection is older movies you can rent for like a buck.
