I've always felt weird trying to answer the "am I an extrovert or introvert" question, then a friend posted this.

There is a large misconception about what introvert/extrovert means. Most think extrovert indicates outgoing and skill in socializing and introverts are anti-social.
Really its a matter of how mentally taxing socializing is for you. Extroverts find socializing relaxing and calming. Introverts find it taxing and stressful. An introvert might love socializing but find it exhausting to do for long periods of time. On the flipside you have extroverts like me that finds being around people very therapeutic but so absolutely horrible at it there is a paradoxical level of anxiety
