Well, if it helps I think my one houserule will be that you don't need the MA merit to actually start buying MAs.

Maybe, I will be honest I have a few qualms about using the leaked version of the game. Plus I heard 3e wont be as bombastic as previous versions and that was one of its selling features for me
Did you support the Kickstarter? I'm basically considering it a backer bonus at this point.

In regards to bombasticity, I'd suggest reading through it before going off of the echo chamber. Survival charms can turn a gorilla into an army fighting machine, Socialize lets you go Doctor Who, Lore lets you call down biblical catastrophes, and that's not even getting into the combat stuff (not to mention the smexy Sorcery and Evocations).

Aerozord would dive into a lake to save a drowning girl from a sinking car, without even stopping to think about how dangerous it was. Nope, but doubt I would have. 3e is the Duke Nukem Forever of table top RPGs to me. Its been "coming soon" for about three years now. I know, text got leaked but I still wont trust it until a physical book is in my hand.
