Anyone remember one where a character (Black Mage?) talks about something someone said having so little knowledge that it made him forget things he already knew?

I seem to recall a comic where BM has one of his inner monologues, is abhorred by his evil ways, and genuinely decides to be good from then on. And then, of course, something happens and he stays evil. Can't seem to find it though, I've searched the archive randomly and I've read through this entire thread. Sorry about the blurry description, it's been a while and my looks are way better than my memory. Please help me.

I'm looking for the comic where BM and friends are in a forest, and one of the other said something.
Then BM stabbed him.
And then stabbed another one.
And then another one.
And then something.
