It's perfectly fine for the forum to be pony obsessed within the proper pony obsession freedom speech zones. This thread is about Oregon Trail however, which most decidedly shares very little in common with magical friendship or the ponies featured therein. Please do not infest the forum with pony madness. Boy, the excessive dog-piling reaction from mods and everyone else was unexpected.

Take a joke, guys! I mean I guess it's sort of 'my fault' that I appear to completely lack whatever gene folks like Nikose and Fifthfiend possess that make it obvious that I'm just foolin' around and being snarky, but it should have been a lot more obvious that I was in fact half-joking and I am not in fact holding secret pagan pony rituals while watching pony marathons, and that I would not in fact require Rob and everyone else here who ever started a project to include MLP references to satiate a rabid fanboyism.

Gosh someone like Fifthfiend needs to open lessons so I can learn his style of wit, because every time I've tried to be playful in a similar dry manner it's backfired on me.

EDIT: Not really pony-specific anymore, just me sad that I apparently have that uber-serious Type A personality type who can't ever goof off without everyone disbelieving that he's actually goofing off.

I think it's that you've been uber-serious Type A personality type about similar things before, so it's hard to tell when you're not serious. Granted, I figured it was a joke. Instead,
