So we are clear

I've run into an issue with Natasha. Fleas are especially bad out, the breeder didn't clear her of ear mites, and the charity vet organization suddenly changed their mind on treating her. Meaning I now need to go to the specialist at four times the cost. On top of that I was already working minimum wage but suddenly my hours were slashed. I'm working 10 hours next week and thats AFTER taking extra shifts. Of course I paid out of my savings to get her better but its left me so tapped that combined with the limitation on vets I can't afford anything else. I atleast wanted to get her chipped because otherwise if she gets out I'll never find her and that terrifies me. That alone will run me over 100 dollars, then there is rabies shot, spaying her, keeping up on the flea medication (foxes cant have things like flea collars).
While I normally would never ask people for money, since its for her sake I was thinking I'd make an exception. Set up on one of those donation sites or just ask people to give to my paypal. What do you guys think? I feel bad, like I'm being irresponsible, but I planned for sudden expenses or for a sudden pay cut but not both at the exact same time.

Fundraising starts at home. If you need to do an indiegogo or something get some friends and family to back that campaign up to like 25% of your goal or something - that can help draw attention.
Also, I think you can use stuff like CareCredit for Vet bills too.
