From what I saw they up his top speed a bit. But since the player is not that good, you can only briefly see the burst in speed for about a second. It might of been a watered done boost mode.

. The episodic nature of the game will keep me away from it, specially since I don't have a way to pay for wii points (any type of card) and the Wii points cards are really expensive here :gonk:. I'd better use those 1000 points I have in something that's actually good

Oh no it's being made by the only people to have made any good Sonic games in the last decade and a half rather than the people who have made repeatedly terrible and even more terrible Sonic games in the same timeframe. If this is me being fooled it's fucking Christmas.

That's a bit more comforting. You know what Sega, Dimps should be the only ones aloud to touch sonic from now on. Least till Sonic Team gets better developers.

I look forward to seeing what they can do with this. Will they bring back the elemental shields? Will there be more speed-based stuff? (I'm talking more than just shoes and springs here.) Will I actually be able to go full speed without dying by running off the screen? (I'm looking at YOU, Chemical Plant Zone!)

I'm hoping the answers to all of these questions will be yes.
