I always wait before I pass judgement. People were downing the Wii when it launched and it sold better than the other two combined.

Yeah, but the Wii was never truly competing with xbox and PS3, it was it's own thing. Cheaper than both, family oriented... if anything else, the Wii proved that high sales are not in direct relation to quality...

Most of the top Wii games barely (if at all) used motion functions and were heavily 1st party titles.

The State of the WiiU now is also very affirmative of this...

So, it's not truly impossible for the Xbox team to turn this around.... Sony did a fairly decent job of that (too slow though) with the launch of the Ps3... but i'm not holding my Breath.

During a separate roundtable Joystiq was present at, Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida said, "As far as free-to-play games are concerned, it's the publisher's decision whether they put it inside or outside of PS Plus."
