Wow I'm surprised I wasn't torn apart for that.

Also thanks Shiny! Since I'm not an artists, calling my stuff such just felt very, VERY wrong.

With that mentality, Sensory Overload shouldn't have been made.

But it was worth making. It was an experiment in game design that me and my friend wanted to do, and, according to sales statistics, to 40 something people, it was a success.

To paraphrase Mark Rosewater: Don't try to make something that nobody will hate, make something that somebody will love.

Something that nobody will hate is bland, boring, and forgettable, even if it's liked by everyone.

Something that a bunch of people hate, but others love, is going to make an impact. The strong positive feelings are important, since they're what people remember.

It's much more preferable to have something that half of users rate a 1, and half rate a 10 (Out of 10), than something that all users rate a 5.

Except in your case you got 40 sales.

Out of the 15000+ hits Mischief Knights has gotten over 3 to 4 years (I posted it on a few forums eachs with around 3000+) I only got 1 fan. ONE fan, and he admitted to being a bit of pervert. Then there are 2 readers who arebarely insterested in it at all.

Granted the story itself was badly written and I aplogize for that but even the plot didn't impress or interest anyone beyond that 1 fan.

I thought that scraping the game project for a writtne story and comic would be a faster way to get it out but that only ruined it. I'm mean fuck if PAF hated the hell out of it and there are industry guys lurking around there along nearly thousands of viewers a day. And they saw what happen well... Yeah even if I went through with the original plan and made the game first. No one would buy it after that incident. I would be the next Sonic 06 in terms of bad PR.

The game wasgoing to be called "D-Resonate". It was going to be a 2D open world platform RPG. It was going to be my love letter to the Castlevania and Megaman franchise, and bared homage to both series through it's mix of RPG elements and fast paced platforming. The game was also going to be split into 4 Episodes due to size and to relieve stress off of the programers and everyone that's not me.

The world itself was going to be big in size. The first area alone "Midnight Town from Mischief Knights" is roughly the size of the Castle in "Castlvania, Synphany of the Night" As I was using that as a base to determn the planed size. There are 5 or so areas per episode of the project, some roughly the same size, some smaller. While the main story missions will only take up a small part of each area's map, the rest of the extra rooms and paths would go towards exploration and side quests/events.

I was also planing on putting in a day and night/weather function but I don't think me and anyone else I can get to help me with the project would have the time to include it along with everything else.

Currently I planned to have 2 Characters playable for the first Episode, "Sarina & Queenie". With plans to add more with each new Episode (stoping at 4). Sarina was more power based and an easy character to handle for beginners while Queenie was more weaker but faster and stratagy based.

There's a lot more notes then just this but I'll get into it more if anyone shows interest. Otherwise it would be a waste to type.

Beside odds are due to well big breasts being a common thing on some of the female leads. NO one will even think of helping me (a college failure I might add) with D-Resonate much less any indi game project.

:EDIT: You know what, I'm gonna finish thoses 3 drawings... maybe... I don't know.

Again no, considering the plot as a whole, that would be a dumb idea. This project has no fanservice outside of the pics I've drawn. Most of the busts are even off by a few cup sizes.

And last I checked my stuff is PG-13. Queens Blade is MA/R/AO on average.

"Blah blah I don't make art and I'm not an artist" nevermind that the very definition of art is subjective to the viewer and at its very most base can be summed up as "different colors on some kind of canvas".

I mean yes you have one style, and that style is the three quarter profile semi-dangerous looks kind of irritated (or constipated?) irrationally large-breasted humanoid animal so it may be in your interest to y'kno branch out from that instead of just lamenting that it all sucks and you suck and sorry for exposing everyone to your suck or whatever your modus is. Tell you this much though, I'm cynical in the "blah blah kytrucker won't listen to anyone" thread for that reason, and I'm surely cynical in this one for the "blah I suck and am shamelessly digging for some kind of compassion" thing you're pulling.

I mean if you want compliments, here: you're better than I am by a mile. Here's me drawing something with tits: o>8-<
