Well, I've never really bothered to count in PvE, but in PvP it typically takes about 4-5 of your average Feds to actually become a threat to me, but a skilled group can burn me down with 3, especially if they have science skills at their disposal.

Also one thing worth noting is that my build incorporates the Reman maintenance engineer doff, which was only available for one weekend shortly before F2P started and gives me awesome bonuses when I use batteries (10% attack with weapons batteries, 10% defense for shields batteries, etc.), which helps a lot. Especially considering that I have a Red Matter Capacitor from the collector's edition (snagged it for 4 bucks on Amazon!) that serves as a battery to all power levels and thereby activates all the Reman doff's bonuses simultaneously. As a result, I've specced into the battery skill (not recommended for anyone not using this setup, of course) which basically gives me 30-second bonuses to whatever I damn well feel like every minute or so.

German for "help", which captains yell when they are incapacitated and need revived. This happens a lot in ground STFs with bad captains, and often when PF and I played together they'd be German. So we equated it with bad players and made it a rallying cry or something.

recently hit 41. Currently flying a Star Cruiser with six mk. X polaron beam arrays, a plasma minelayer and a quantum torpedo launcher.

the mines have been surprisingly useful, though I rarely venture into PVP.

And I'm currentally equipped with plasma weapons.. and I know the full Borg set provides a strong resistance to them, so I'm exploring alternitives.
