Nice KoL reference.

Edit: I move that the supply of awesome hats has been nearly depleted.

In which case, I submit a pancake.

I'm not, but I have a pretty good idea of what it is anyway. So:

Flat Hats:
Red and White Striped Top Hat - Ugh, get it away! I'd much rather see somebody else wearing that hat.
Pac Hat - Say what you want, all I can think of is those cat ears right now.
Santa Hat - Having been forced to wear this every christmas somewhat takes the charm out of it.
Beer Hat - I might like this a lot more when I start drinking. And going to ballparks.
Coolie - Well, in the race of lookalikes, I'd rather be wearing a lampshade than this, but only a little bit.
Lampshade - See above. Also there aren't any good lampshades in my area.
Pancake - A rabbit did it. A cat did it. Why can't I do it? Well, mainly because after a couple days I'm not letting that thing get anywhere near my head!
Jamaican Tam Cap - I didn't wear these in high school because at my school only stoners and jerks wore them. They might have a future if I ever manage to get one over my hair.

Phat Hats:
Whatever the hell Archbio's thing is - That's pretty badass, but I'm sure the effect is diminished somewhat on a dude.
Coonskin Cap - Warm? Yes. Stylin? Yes. Year round? Nope. EDIT: Oh yeah, didn't that jerk in a Christmas Story wear one of those, too?
Derby - I always assume people wearing these are bald because they're just too round.
Top Hat - Fashionable, but it doesn't quite make the statement I'm going for (let me get back to you on what exactly that statement is).
Sombrero - Would get more points if I could get through narrow doorways with it.
Gilgamesh - As I've said before, flames and spikes make ANYTHING better. This hat is no exception.
Pirate - I love this, but I rather not have the navy on my tail, savvy?
Fedora - Ah, the classic gentlemen's hat. Usable by almost anyone, extremely versatile and light, this hat makes it to the final round, but there are even better ones here.
Soviet Commissar Hat - I was seriously considering giving this first place out and out, but military hats just aren't quite as fashionable as

That Hat:
The Deerstalker - One man made it internationally famous, and that's all it took. When you're wearing one of these, people know you know what the hell you're doing. You are not a guy to mess with. Also, the flaps come down, which is great when it's really cold out.

Congrats Smarty, you take home the gold.
Other top contenders (but by no means insta-wins) would have been the Trilby, the Ushanka, and whatever hat Bartholomew Cubbins was wearing in that one Dr. Seuss book.

Oh, and a consolatory prize for Bookie:

This round is a perfect example of what this game should be.

I'm just glad it got so many different suggestions. I might consider buying a couple of these now.

That was totally what I was thinking when I went for that suggestion. We are totally 'N sync!

Round:
Best title sequence (opening credits with musicy stuff) from a TV show.
Both song and visuals are important, quality of show is completely irrelevant.

If you are a cool cat, give me a youtube link.

All the good hats were taken away, and I didn't guess right about the army cap either.

The opening of Buffy the vampire slayer, fitted perfectly for that show. May, or may not get video about that one later, even though people who have seen it know what it's like anyway.

Och nu vi har en film.
