OMFG, SMB! I forgot about some of the cool-awesome peeps that I left here when things got busy and I stopped visiting the site! You were one of them!

Um, I kinda feel like I should make my own "I'm back thread," if not just to see who is still around here (and who even remembers me).

I remember that time we were briefly lovers, torn apart by our respective backgrounds, me by my violent unrepetant past, you by your simple townsfolk ways, before we overcame our obstacles, mostly through large bouts of murder to sit triumph on a throne of our own hedonism.
This may have been in a game but I'm pretty sure it really happened.

Also I think you lived in the awesome state of Washington which was the only US state that was going to let me work - and thus is the best of all states- before my (probably communo-terrorist) style run-ins with British immigration marked me forever.

I do live in WA, and I still very much like this place. I'm working at Nintendo at the moment. What was that bit about run-ins with British immigration?

Additionally, I can't find that game... It'd be awesome to read through it again.

Well I was going to be joint working in Britain and WA and WA were like, We're real down, we need the awesome power of your beard but then Britain decided the power of my beard was secretely terrorism so they denied me a visa like 3 times despite both my parents being british citizens and having a job (turns out visa offices can decide arbitrarily whether to let you in or not). I got one eventually but by then WA job fell through so now I live in smelly old Britain.

There are no infractions anymore! Also gravity works backwards and cats chase dogs! We went through the Rapture while you were gone. It was pretty crazy for a while.

Like Smarty said, we introduced a new set of rules and wiped all existing infractions the same day, and now we're only using them to track temp bans - you won't get one without the other, and never for minor petty stuff.

On that note: total number of infractions given since we rolled out that method last May is 9, and 2-3 of those were tests or something. Looks like it's working out relatively okay.
