Well, while Sheen is central to show, it's Chuck Lorre's show and so long as he writes and it draws ratings, CBS won't care how Sheen's character is replaced or removed.

I'm not saying that it's going to be a hit without him (I'm not sure how it was a hit with him), but it's definitely getting another season without Sheen.

Yeah, all the characters as far as I remember: His mother, his brother, his nephew, his maid, his various girlfriends, even his ex-sister in law; they all exist mostly so he can play off them. What are they going to do, invent a twin brother who no one knew lived and who kills Charlie and takes over his life without anyone noticing the difference?

My local eyewitness news has been running some sort of Charlie Sheen-related segment literally every single night since this shit started. And it's not like there's anything to say about this that wasn't already said a day after it began.

This nonsense is getting as bad as when the Pope died.

He supposedly has a "Michael J Fox" clause in his contract where if he's not on the show for any reason, he still continues to make what he would if he were on the show. I don't see them continuing the show if it means they have to continue to pay Sheen.

I smell a legal battle.
