Before I had my grinding plant eater teeth pulled I had my pointy meat eater teeth pulled, then holes drilled into the roof of my mouth, hooks attatched and my impacted teeth forcibly pulled down over the course of months
so yea comparatively, wisdom teeth aren't that bad Seriously was so painful that the cotton gauze felt like rigid nylon getting jammed into my open wound Quote:

I've had only 1 wisdom teeth out for at least 2-3 years, there's no sign the others are coming anytime soon. I'm a horrible asymmetrical monster D:

way I understand it wisdom teeth issues are so common they sometimes remove them just to get it out of the way. what they did with me, dentist said there was no way they'd come in right so might as well remove them now

I have two wisdom teeth that are impacted and two that are fine.
I have to extract all of them because the impacted ones are the bottom ones and so the top ones won't have a place to hit or some shit and long story short I need to get all of them out. The problem is that, apparently, it's impossible to extract more than one at a time and it's always local anesthesia so fuck if I'm going to spend 8 weeks - 2 weeks between each extraction - in pain. I've had two out already, one on top and one on bottom, Dentist even had to get a drill out for the bottom one, and I've never had any real pain beyond the day of the visit. Painkillers eat up a lot of that pain rather well and the day after I don't feel a thing.
This is on local as well.

I have a friend with several impacted tooth and, they've been taking them out one by one. I have no idea why though.
