This kind of behavior has been part of the online multiplayer scene since forever, especially re: FPS.

This sort of treatment has actually been defended as some kind of sick 'tradition' or rite at times so at a certain point one has to decide how much one is interested utilizing this feature. Or in my case, if one is even interested in playing these kinds of games at all.

This seems like the best plan.

For me it's mostly people who have mics on but don't use them for communication, just blasting obnoxiously loud music or, sometimes, just sheer noise, like they've thrown their mic out the window onto a busy high street. Like, what was even the point of turning the damn thing on if all anyone on your team can hear is the sound of every vibration in the world?

Of course, sometimes they do decide to actually talk, but you can still hear everything and it's transmited down the line as some squalling, schreeching interference. And naturally, you get those people who, for the entire time they're online, they're in a shouting match with someone else in another room of their house and just have to yell and scream right into the mic, constantly.

Seriously, fuck all those people.

Your issue here is that you're playing world of tanks, honestly. As with many online competitive games, some people are obsessed with their statistics, and because there are so many people in each game and the maximum tier of the game you're in is not in your hands, victory (or defeat) is almost entirely in the hands of your teammates. You can play perfectly, go 5:1 and hold an entire flank by your lonesome and still lose, solely by the whims of the matchmaker.

This, including the fact that there are no respawns (which leads to a lot of cautious, stand-off gameplay and peek-a-boo urban combat), means that aggressive, or simply bad players spend a lot of time dead trying to behave as backseat drivers for the people who aren't dead. I don't think I need to explain why these three things, in combination, result in caustic behavior. It's a shooter that punishes aggressive behavior.

With a brutal learning curve. First thing you need to mentally get over is that just because you are in a tank doesn't mean you will dominate. Some people it seems do not take the time to learn the tank they are in (it's strengths, weaknesses, what it has and can get for better equipment, role). Case in point...I can ninja a KV-1 (45t Soviet Heavy Tank) onto the flank of an enemy at times and they will not even know I am there till I get 'Detected' when I get within 10m of them. No Camo or anything. I've died once doing this but you could see the panic in how quickly and messily the OPFOR was trying to shoot me.

EDIT: Then there are the matches with my Panzer Mk. IV...let's just say I have ninja'd with that so well that Miho and Team Goosefish would give me a thumbs up.
