Nah, the NPF member comic/song/poem/picture thread is dedicated to a specific manner of vain stupidity. Namely, it is for comics about forum members. Self-insert fan-fiction of only the highest quality belongs there.

But then again only Daimo's using it these days. I'll only cry myself to sleep for a few days if you decide to go ahead and post there anyway.

Also, so no one else has to say it, this is X-Men. This comic is running straight into X-Men knock-off territory. I hope you have something in mind to make it not X-Men.

Haha, I knew people would be saying that!

Here its not so much about racism, its more about the social issues with having thousands of people with varying superpowers walking about. X-men is an inspiration sure, but so is Spider-man, Savage dragon, Astro City, Storm Watch and some other odds and ends.

And the Chiron's super school is only gonna be the setting for the first 14 issues or so, after that....something happens that makes them travel about a bunch of different places...I can't be more detailed without giving away spoilers.

I had thought about just jumping on ahead to that part of the story, and tell the bits about Chiron's Class through flashbacks, but I thought that woulda been extra tricky, plus I thought I had some greta bits written I nthe original scripts. Ah well, call it a plan B




Chiron's Class is more down to earth and lower budget than other super Schools, Xavier Institute, Avengers Academy, Sky High, etc.

And god, you wouldn't believe the amount of sleep I've been losing just getting two of those a week, plus my crummy SATW spinoff once a week, and other odds and ends.

I really wonder what the update once a day type people do it. Well, those are usually three panel strips type stuff. And professional 24-whateve pages per month, comic artists often work in collaboration with others, and don't work an unrelated day job.

Still, its really annoying that I now gottta switch to once a week updates, since I'm taking a longass job training education. It'll almost feel like community college all over again :/

I wish I could update 3 times a week or more, but then those kinds of series are either done by multiple people, or are a three panel strips kind of thing.

But then it does open me up to working and testing out other things and hopefully maybe some commissions. Plus there's an approaching time where I'll be studying a whole bunch, so I'll be stuck with once a week updates for quite some time.

Well anyways, here's what I got so far on issue two, where I'm doing the speech bubbles in a different way, and I like it better.









Most indestructible people I can think of are also super duper strong and some other stuff, so I thought it'd be funny/cool if there was an indestructible person who couldn't do anything else.
