In the Shortpacked! plus column: Malaya p. much owns.
Like I really hope she isn't being set up as "evil" because so far her major evil activity is being totally right about everything.

Captain SNES: What the hell is wrong with the author?
It is still totally rad, though, you guys.

If nothing else came of this stupid storyline, at least Willis finally used Ninja Rick to make a joke about adults who watch anime that actually reflects reality and is almost funny sort of.

So Dead Winter is pretty original for a zombie apocalypse comic about a bunch of improbably badass wisecracking young men and women of action. How is that possible you ask? It's full of mysteries that take their time to reveal themselves, like who the hitman is there to kill. It's full of stupid ass villains, but the writing is good enough that we get frustrated with them rather than the author. The main character is a highly moral pacifist and poet who wants to shove the zombies away gently with a mop. Some things like that.
PS Edit: Lackadaisy put up three new pages the other day.

Man, the last twenty years have not been kind to King Radical.
Edit: re: Captain SNES. This dialogue. It's so awful, I love it! And Oh my goodness this may be the best DOUBLE K yet.

Captains SNES dialogue: that's just so great. So terrible and great at the same time. Also, any takers? Will this be the final reveal of Mother Brain's true evil, or will this be another author fake-out? This is King Hippo telling the story, after all. I, personally, still think it's real, but, the latter is a possibility.
Also. I just finished catching up with Errant Story for the first time in... four years? Longer? Anyway: wow. The plot is so slow, that stuff we knew was coming for quite some time is finally wrapping up. Not to say it's not entertaining. It's quite a fun read. But guys, really: I knew way back whenever Ian first got the whole godlike power thing that Luminosita's days were numbered, the elves were in for it, and Meiji was still due for her upgrade, not to mention that it was obvious that the deities really weren't. It really took us four years to get all those plot points out? Really? Really? I must admit, though, I was expecting some sort of time-pass, rather than continuing moment-by-moment as it has... which, strangely, makes the excruciatingly slow reveal seem slower still, to me, at least. Again, it's not that it's boring - it's just that it feels like it took forever to get to obvious events. In other news, Weregeek has had some interesting plot-bombs lately. Nothing surprising, save the fact that plot is, in fact, progressing in more-than-one-comic-at-a-time fashion.

Also, is Gabe drawing increasingly shitty faces intentionally? Or did I miss a newspost where they talked about how he had a stroke?

I'll forgive a lot of stories where a lot of characters who have seen a lot of fantastical shit suddenly can't believe in a lot of other fantastical shit but "fairy tales"? there are literally ACTUAL FAIRIES, KAT YOU KNOW TWO OF THEM EDIT: THEY DON'T EVEN TELL TALES
