I barely post anything anymore ever, but I still lurk here daily. (Apparently this is my ninth post this year.) I feel like I should be contributing to this thread, but I've been at an odd loss for words when it comes to expressing my feelings about all this.

I suppose I feel simultaneously very sad and completely ambivalent towards the thought of wiping the slate clean and starting over. I guess really my fear is that on the new forum there'll be little to no evidence that I was ever a significant part of this community, even if that might be mostly in my head and entirely in the past. Who besides my comics peeps will even remember me? But I guess that's not so different than now anyway. I should probably just make the hard drive space, download the archive, copy down the PMs I want to save, screencap my rep notes, and then I'll be okay.

Anyway, my point was that you're all important to me and I don't want to lose you. Yes, even you.

EDIT: Also it is my opinion that I have met far too few of you in real life. Granted, I can boast phil_, _mike, Mauve, and POS, but still. Not enough.

Rick, Snake, I think that the people who were around before will recognize ya'll from before and stuff, but also not really recall old bad stuff that went down, for what that's worth. It kind of seems perfect that way, because anyone who should care will remember you (esp with everyone archiving everything) and anyone new or more casual people wont have much baggage going forward.
