(Hmm...seems I missed something. Nothing important, right?)

As Li charged towards the newest boarding party, he noticed that there were not as many as had been in previous ones. As he looked over into the other ship, he was indeed very suprised to see Kane seemingly fly upward's out of the pirates cargo hatch, and slice a very unlucky man twice in the back. The rest of the boarding party turned to fight him, only to find him dashing, ducking and rolling away, chipping a calve here, slicing a hamstring there, and generally making a large nuisance of himself. It became clear that while Kane may not be good at killing people, he was good at fighting. "You know, guys, this ship is very nice!" he said as he knicked a man's knee, sliced another man's throat, and then moved another's attack to parry another attack, "you should--" and a very heavy handed kick took him in the stomach and sent him sprawling away. As the 10-odd men charged forward, Kane popped up, grabbed a rope, sliced it, kicked a man and flew upwards as the men scattered to avoid the falling sail.

No witty banter when fighting. Right.

Hikiro's eyes narrowed as a lone attacker ambled down his set of stairs. Hikiro quietly drew his ninja-to and lunged from the shadows. He grabbed the assailant from the back. With a hand around his mouth to stop him from screaming, Hikiro drew his blade across the man's throat and allowed him to fall top the floor. Hikiro inspected the body "hmm no one important" He dragged the body back into the shadows and allowed him to bleed to death there. Hikiro could hear fighting up ahead. He moved down the hallway making sure to keep quiet and stick to the shadows.

There were at least a dozen of the pirates left. Kyoji closed his eyes and took in a deep breath to calm himself, and began to use a technique he had learned at Shaolin Temple to block the pain coming from his injured leg. He exhaled slowly, opening his eyes and summed up the situation. His stare was so intense, all of his opponents were struck still with fear. The already large man suddenly seemed much larger, and any emotion that had been in his face was now gone. He stood up straight and pointed his spear at them.
"Leave this ship now or die! Don't throw away your lives like this!" Kyoji yelled at them.
"That cocky bastard! Let's get 'em!" yelled one of the men, and he and two other pirates rushed at Kyoji. Kyoji turned his spear around and bashed the butt of the weapon into the closest pirate's throat, crushing his windpipe. He pivoted and spun in a circle, and the blade of his spear sliced through the second's sword arm. The arm dropped to the deck like a lead weight, still clutching the sword. The third pirate charged at him from behind, raising his sword high above his head to finish Kyoji with a final, powerful blow. The blow never arrived, however, and the pirate stopped short, his neck between the main blade and one of the cross blades of the spear.
"This is your last chance. Leave immediately," Kyoji said in a cold tone. The man backed up slowly, dropping his sword. The rest of the pirates were all having similar reactions. The man who had dropped his sword turned and ran back to his ship, and his fellows quickly followed suit. When they were all gone, Kyoji breathed a sigh of relief and flopped down on the deck.

The Ascending Li finds himself eye to eye with Sou-Rita, who was tiptoeing along one wooden beam in the wood/rope/sail canopy of the ship. He sits down where he stands and pulls a twofoot long object from his robe. It is a bowed piece of wood, folded in two. Grasping the bent middle, the wood comes alive where he touches it and bends itself so that the wood becomes a four foot lng bow, after which it stays in place. The monk quickly strings it and, just as quickly notchees an arrow dug out from his flowing robes. the arrow is tipped with a hard bulbous wooden had, for bludgeoning power, rather than lethal.
"It is allways bette to do cause the least amount of suffering when given the choice."
He lets the arow fly, seemingly without looking, and notches anouther and lets that one fly, he contiues in rapid succession.
Below dozens of enemies are falling like leaves, as if suddenly asleep.

Hikiro watched them run in the opposite direction as he was moving. He grabbed a straggler and swiftly ousted him in much the same fashion as the other one he had killed previously. He wandered over to Kyoji "you certainly have some fight in you"

Kane was laying on the main mast of the pirate's ship, leg burning raw-fire. What he thought had been a partial hair-line fracture on his right leg seemed to have broken full though. Fortunatly, he been able to cut the rope ladders that led up the mast, keeping the pirates from approaching him directly. Instead, they climbed up one of the minor masts with crossbows. Kane was quite proficient with his crossbow, and was able to kill some of his attackers. But now, he was running low on ammunition.

"Hey guys!" he called out as loudly and nonchalantly as he could manage, "I could use some hel--" a bolt sliced a papercut thin line across his stomach.

The hell? That wasn't even witty!

Hikiro answered the call for help in his usual spectacular fashion via a column of water bearing resemblance to a gaping dragon which rose from one side of the ship, pulverised the attacker with the crossbow along with several others and fell into the water on the other side taking them to a rather soggy grave. Hikiro gave an effortless wave and parried an attack from another raider.

"I always thought ninjas tried to remain as inconspicuos and unspectacular as possible, relying on ingenous and improvised weapons and tactics instead of flashy techniques and...magic. Guess I was talking to the wrong ninjas." He ratcheted his crossbow and fired another shot.

Hikiro impaled another enemy and ran the blade up the assailant's torso leaving him a right mess "there is a time for caution and there is a time unadulterated wrath. Its well time you learned the difference" He glanced around for a moment "anyone seen our captain?"
