The 48 hours are up!
The flick was Miller's Crossing. That's Leo O'Bannon's crew and the man being shown in (but who's not identifiable in this particular picture) is Tom Reagan, played by Gabriel Byrne. I thought the sequence had something memorable to it, but it's not top tier. Next time I'll try and pick a smidge easier.

Nah, The Blob's old, but it was made recently enough to have a little color. That looks like... a man and woman running down an alley while a truck chases them. I think it might be a war film?

I don't think it's a wartime film. Looks more like crime or horror. I'd go crime.
Of course, I don't know very much about those two genres, so I'll just say "Allleys 2 -Return of the Cobblestones-" |
