Trying to defrag my computer after a chkdsk didn't do the job of clearing my space. I cleared out Gigabytes worth of data onto my server that I don't use often and was happily sitting at about 7GB free. Then it slipped for no good reason as it does on this Godforsaken install to about 6GB. No worries, plenty of room. Suddenly last night, BAM, 2 FUCKING GB FREE! It slipped down to 1.5 and I did a chkdsk like always, which usually resets shit. Nope, 2GB free. PRETTY MUCH EXACTLY WHAT I STARTED OUT AT BEFORE PURGING ALL THE GORRAM DATA!

Seriously, fuck this install. If it didn't mean losing all my highly expensive begged-from-school-and-irreplacable programming software, like Crystal Reports, I'd just buckle down and wipe the damn thing and start over.

Not that I couldn't, say, transfer it over to the server, maybe, but that could cause its own problems pulling it back with my luck. Plus over a wireless connection it would probably take overnight. That stuff is huge.

EDIT: Oh, joy, it just finished. 2GB. Where the HELL did I store the 4GB of data not currently on this thing?

You can probably hit some horses though.

If Vista counts as a virus, then yes. This install was never the same after I deleted my mom's account from it when she got her own laptop. It used to be normal.

EDIT: Deleted some junk that had somehow undeleted itself (unless my vast and amazing psychic abilities reinstalled several GB worth of game installation data overnight) and got all the way back to 8.04GB free. Two refreshes later and I'm already down to 7.72.

So, this is a thread about hate then? Excellent! THough, I admit, I honestly don't have much to hte on, except for the fact that I STILL can't get hold of the complete series of Farscape on either dvd or by streaming it straight off the net. I thought I'd found a place I could watch them, but then it turned out mostof the links were several years old and were mostly dead, which was annoying, but not exactly hte filling. So I decided to re-watch Firefly instead while drinking Bud and pigging out on chcocolate, because why the fucknot! Therefore I am actually quite happy right now and not at all hateful.

It is a much better thing to be.

Smarty hates all porn that isn't elephant or horse. Even donkey. Though donkey on elephant seems to suit him just fine.

FYI: The sensation of swallowing so much of your own blood that you start puking black is uniquely rich. I recommend everyone try it. Especially those teenaged vampire fans who like to talk about how good blood tastes.

I hate stupid preceptors who make fun of me and have the audacity to tell me that I don't know how to take a blood pressure even though I've been an EMT for 6.5 years. I can give him a reason for every one of my numbers but his response is that "I just suck." I also hate the fact that he won't stop making fun of me about it. "Want to take a blood pressure on this dead guy? I bet you'll still get it wrong." I hope he enjoys the complaints I've lodged against him.

I also hate emergency rooms right now. I go there to get my painful side and abdomen checked out for a possible hernia, not to sit in the OB room for 3 hours waiting for an ultrasound that they just "forgot" about, even after I asked them to check twice. I hate that the ultrasound bitch kept pressing very hard on my area of pain asking me if it hurt even when I asked her to stop. I also hate that the er tech tried to be an asshole and told me that nothing was wrong with me and gave me pain meds that burned my veins. I especially hate the doctor who discharged me with no pain meds.

Fuck everyone.

Even after I learned, grew up, and came to be on the right side of a lot of important issues, I was still angry, abrasive, and generally increased the amount of hate in the world, in pretty unacceptable ways. On the off chance that someone is taking a trip down memory lane looking through those old threads, I wanted to devote my signature to say directly to you, I'm sorry.
