It's not my fav (I don't have time at the moment to find THAT) but it was only yesterday when I was rereading the archives that I noticed Garland and the Pirate captain.
"arr, and its drivin' me nuts!"
only recently did I hear the original joke. If you don't know, don't ask. Go look.

It involves a ship's helm protruding from a pirate's trousers!

I just think that the golden ages for 8-bit were the chapters between 200 and 300. I think that because of the development of the characters, the storyline, etc.
It's not that the latests strips ar bad, It's just that I think the best ones were these.
And for not walking away from the subject of this forum, the best is 397 Portents!.

And how! I've always been puzzled by how many folks seem to prefer the very first strips. They always struck me as a work in progress, certainly inferior to the richer, more complex work that was to follow. It's not until somewhere around episode 100 that things really get into swing.
